On-Chain Ownership
Own a Piece of XenBlocks
Each XenMap NFT is linked to a specific block on the XenBlocks blockchain, ensuring genuine ownership. The project, developed in Solidity and compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, follows the ERC-721 NFT standard. On-chain storage of SVGs and properties eliminates the need for external servers or IPFS, increasing security and durability.
Version 1 will be focused on testing of the XenBlocks minting app and to gather feedback from the Xen Community. XenMaps v1 testnet omits Xenblocks block data properties, as it's not yet available on-chain.
Version 2 of testnet will aim to integrate mined block data from XenBlocks, either from a smart contract on X1 testnet or from on-chain data on the XenBlocks testnet. The minting dapp will verify unique ownership and if the block number exists and was previously mined, the block information will be added, thus proving ownership for the valid Xenblock.
In the mainnet phase, XenMaps mint function verifies the Xenblocks data is mined on chain and stores the properites of the mined XenBlock in the XenMap NFT. The user can then inscribe a message directly on the NFT describing their new Xenblock. The system embeds block properties and the user’s message directly onto the blockchain, ensuring each NFT not only represents a specific block but also features a unique description or message from the user, if desired.
For example, a user could inscribe a message that says "This block was TreecityWes.eth's first superblock!" and the message will show directly on the XenMaps NFT.
